This was a scroll blank I produced for the Middle Kingdom's service award, the Purple Fret. I produced this one in June of 2000. I had wonderful intentions of turning this in to our Regional Signet in time to be used during the reign... The road to Hell is paved with such intentions. Now that it's irretrievably out of date and still in my possession, I am keeping it for my A&S portfolio.
The initial "Q" was inspired by Bodleian MS Don. a. 11, folio 19 verso. The hand is a Batarde that I promptly forgot how to do and need to relearn.
