Darius King of these Eastern lands, sovereign and Lord of Bhakail, Østgarðr, Carolingia, the Barony Beyond the Mountain, Bridge, Bergental, Settmour Swamp, Malagentia, Dragonship Haven, Carillion, Ruantallan, Concordia of the Snows, An Dubhaigeainn, and Havre des Glaces, and all the other lands, settled or wilderness, betwixt said lands, and Roxane his gracious and most serene Queen, whitest of the does of the forests, before whom in the radiance of her loveliness all others must prostrate themselves or find no joy thereafter in lilies nor in doves nor in anything formerly thought beautiful: to all to whom these presents come, dwelling within the lands aforesaid or beyond, greetings. Forasmuch as men of goodwill do honor to their sovereign and liege lord the King, and in good order and to obtain favour in the eyes of men of high estate and low and most especially in the ever watchful and holy sight of the one from whom even the estate and demesne appertaining to Our most royal Self doth derive, do acquiesce unto those labours which We do command and urge upon Our loyal subjects, and perform such works of dutie and diligence as recommend them unto Our protection and munificence: even among such who do these works labour those whose toil and exertion on the behalf of their master the King exceed that of their countrymen, and unto those whose service is proven to be so exemplary, commendable and laudable beyond the labours of the masses are awarded esteem and recompense in such measure as the Crown alone can provide. Our subject Philadelphia Brown through her toil has proven herself to be among such labourers: guiding those newly come into our midst, she hath worked herself without let on their behalf and hath provided them with clothing and carriage from her own treasury. In the service of Our kingdom she hath collected tolls, served forth victuals, and done such divers labours that all have benefited therefrom, and she hath performed such works for many long years without recompense nor plaint. In view of Philadelphia's faithful service to this Realm and Our subjects, We are minded thus to create her a Companion of the Silver Crescent, with rights to bear as a badge in pale a crescent inverted argent and an Eastern crown Or, and with as many other rights and responsibilities as are thereunto attached. Done by Our hand as these signs-manual do truly attest on this ii idibus Aprilis, dies Sancta Tetricus, being the xii day in the month of April, Anno Societatis xxxvii, on the occasion of Our Coronation and accession to Our thrones in Our Barony of Settmour Swamp.
